I just uploaded a poster for "A Tale of Two Villages" (https://www.imdb.com/es-es/title/tt0042558/) because the IMDb number (tt0042558) wasn't showing up in the CineMaterial database. When I checked the "pending uploads" section, I saw that there was already a much higher-quality poster.
I tried searching for the IMDb number again on CineMaterial, but it's still returning zero results.
Is this a bug?

The same thing happens with "Étienne" (https://www.imdb.com/es-es/title/tt0200318/)
The IMDb number doesn't appear in the CineMaterial database (but the poster is already online).

Yes, it is a bug. The search by name works. The search by the IMDb number no. As in all the new movies uploaded since 2025.

The strange thing is that if you click on the Cine Material link to IMDb, it does take you to the correct page. But not the other way around.
The same thing happened to me with "Frau Warrens Gewerbe (tt0052821). Searching by IMDb number yielded 0 results. But searching by title did produce 2 results. And clicking on the IMDb link provided takes you to the correct page on IMDb.
I've also noticed that the first two digits after "tt" have been removed from the "Upload poster" link for this film (tt0052821), leaving "tt52821". And searching for "tt52821" doesn't yield any results either.
So, I think we'll have to search by title as well.
