General - Seeking Advice: Using Posters for an Academic Project

Hi everyone, I'm working on a university research paper about film marketing and I would love to include some poster art from this site as examples. I'm not selling anything, it's purely for academic use. How should I go about asking the users who uploaded them for permission? Should I just send a direct message, or is there a better way to credit everyone properly? Any guidance would be so appreciated!
